OK I know you are being sarcastic. Even females can tell you know.
Lol. Isn't it astonishing what females can do when they put their mind to it...

I don't think people who love God more than Torchwood deserve respect for that. That being said, I've met rabid Dr. Who fans who would consider liking Torchwood at all highly sacrilegious, irrespective of God or no God.
Quote:I just sometimes feel like I myself love Torchwood much more than God. I think it a lot and it no longer bothers me. I do wonder what this makes me however.
Depending on your remaining religious convictions either a believer with an unhealthy relationship to TV shows, or possibly an anti-theist who sometimes enjoys TV a bit. It's all relative, you know...

Very good, because that would be... erm... hilariously misguided?

I would agree that if there is a god, he is a raging arsehole. There is tons of needless suffering in the world, that's evidence enough for me that either he is limited in power (so probably not a god) or else "not all good".

Your example is frustrating, sure.

Somewhere in Africa a starving child is rolling its eyes.

First-world problems FTW.

umm, can't you just show it to him on a laptop, ipad or just bring him over to your place?

I find it interesting when in the midst of frustration- blame God.
Using His name in vain is also very popular (vain is connected with vanity- useless).

Why not blame the devil?
He is always hanging around somewhere.
Seriously, if that thing is an idol (and it sure walks/ quacks and looks like one) -
it would be a real good thing for God to step in and whack it.
But He lets us collect all the idols we want- look around- the world is full of them,
so I doubt it is God behind your technical flukes.

God could get rid of the devil, I presume. If not, he's not all powerful. The fact that he doesn't get rid of him, or stop him interfering, means he is happy for him to keep screwing everything up.

Another case of can't have it both ways.

You've got a point there - the USB connector clearly is a work of the Devil. And there he sits in Hell snickering every time I try to plug it in the wrong way (in other words, every single time), or have bent my cell phone charger cable yet again, tempted to take the name of the Lord so in vain.

What reason do we have to believe this "devil" exists anyway? God's book? He's clearly a scapegoat. Something goes wrong, blame the devil, if he is even real. Or blame the flawed creation for its flaws.

Never my fault even though I can do anything.

Bah!

Personally - I tend to blame the underpants-gnomes. Or pixies. Or Wombles.

What difference does it make? Your god may be my devil and yet someone else's vampire from outer space.
