You all dare lecture me on morality? You hypocrites, take a look in the mirror!

Indeed, many of us will dare to lecture you on morality and you've already explained why:

1. Your God is responsible for all human action, 'good' & 'evil'
2. All actions are designed & controlled by him thus rendering humans unaccountable & unresponsible for anything they do; only your God can be accountable & responsible
3. All 'evil' is actually 'good', which is to say that it serves God's purpose for evil to happen
4. People, other than those directly involved in any scenario where 'evil' is done, must be punished by your God for things they haven't done, could have had no part in, may never have done themselves and/or the occurrence of which they may not even be aware of

Consequently, you have no basis for describing any action as 'evil' nor can you blame people for them. There's no way of applying concepts of justice because there can be no such thing under this system, only the puppetry of totalitarianism. Since 'morality' is defined as 'principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behaviour' and under your God's system there can be no such distinction, your God is amoral, as you claim you are in your adherence to those principles. I would say 'physician, heal thyself'.

However there's a ray of light here as you clearly do have a moral centre: you perceive justice & injustice, you're disgusted by evil, you would rather people take action to make other people's lives better than do nothing, (for all it's errors) you imagine a world in which 'justice for all' is attainable.

I tell you that you're better than the God you worship, more moral, more just. The saddest thing about this thread is that you would dismiss your own morality in favour of a system which clearly sits in direct opposition to the way you truly feel about people and the way they should be treated. Never, in my experience, has the personal harm caused by Christian indoctrination been more clearly illustrated.

This just shows how absurd it seems to take any culture's creation myth literally .. especially once that society has developed the means to make the printed word generally available and amassed a vast amount of empirical data by way of the scientific method.
