If by complex you mean hideously convoluted, appalingly contradictory and atrociously written, then I agree.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I suppose if you try to make sense of it as a single book, it might be. But it isn't. It's a collection of loosely related books written over about 700 hundred years, give or take a century.

I'm curious as to how so. Given that last time I read the bible I found it to be an fairly simple piece of writing that uses very basic manipulationtechniques
