Some Christians believe there is a long term plot by Satan to slowly prepare the world to accept the antiChrist. They view all pop culture and world events through a very screwed up lens. A popular song can't be succesful without being part of the plot to draw their children one step closer to Lucifer, especially if that song is performed by an atractive woman who shows clevage. Mostly yes, but the case I made a few posts ago for classical music is weird because it's not pop culture. I always imagined a devout Christian listening to a lot of classic and always checking backgrounds to see if the composer was a true Christian.

I totally agree with the dude about John Cage, who caused a ton of fights in my music theory and music history classes in college. IMO, if anyone is of the devil, it's John Cage.

I can see how it would be hard for a Christian to hear something about supernatural phenomena and not be able to distinguish whether or not it was intended to be fiction or nonfiction. Poor bastards. However do they make it past episode 4 of Star Wars in the original trilogy? I bet they got worried sick about that Death Star. If they'd just find the courage to watch the other episodes, they'd see that it gets destroyed! Anybody ever seen Galaxy Quest? Lol, reminds me of that.
