It is generally rude to be an ass, just because the people around you are asses. Some of us take the high road.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide mankind that cannot be achieved as well or better through secular means.

Fair enough.  While I feel they deserve to have their cage rattled now and again, I've ever found it worth my time to be the one to do it.

RE: Atheists on religious forums
I haven't noticed many atheists on religious forums. The ones I did notice tended to be 15-year-old boys patting themselves on the backs for a few hours while making no sense...probably because they were hormonal kids.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Probably don't notice them because they got banned for saying they are atheists Tongue just playing around.

I've not tried it myself though.

Maybe some of the theist websites (there are many), but the one I frequented most would let people run around like crazy before there was a hint of banning them. Then again, not all the mods at the site believed in God so maybe they weren't as quick to defend their beliefs (they had other spiritual beliefs).

That's good to hear there are some an atheist could go to.

As with any forum, read the rules. If you adhere to them, you'll be OK. If you don't, you'll be banned. If you don't bother reading the rules and you get banned, it's your fault, not the forum's fault.

For example, Googling "christian forum" gave me this as the first hit:
http://www.christianforums.com/

At the top right it says "Rules." Clicking on that leads here:
http://www.christianforums.com/rules/#faq_rule_0

Not too far down you'll see Blasphemy and Vulgarity/Profanity rules. Most of the atheists here wouldn't last long under those rules.
