I have been having a hard time finding the quote where Sheldrake makes the claim about Whitehead's theories. I don't think I imagined the mention of the future causing the past, but I haven't been able to find it easily.

Here is an article that might cover the idea (based only on the title):
https://whiteheadresearch.org/occasions/...rality.pdf

I have noticed in other cases that Sheldrake isn't too worried about skepticism, so I have been suspicious about this Whitehead claim.

EDIT: After skimming the above link, I realized it isn't very scientific, so I don't know. Probably this is just people who don't understand something complicated like (QM and Whitehead's philosophy) claiming it supports their pet theories. Tongue

When I read the name Sheldrake, I hear these strangely agitated bells ringing in my head, and I wonder what they want to tell me. Maybe I should ask my dog
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Isn't Sheldrake the name of a pokémon?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
