If so, I didn't even realize, because it makes no difference at all to me. Anyone who treats you less favourably for knowing that is a piece of shit not worthy of your time anyway.

Not that I didn't already know about this detail of your person, but I wouldn't say it's your main character trait.

No, that is not a religious concern. Religion merely makes it one. Yes, I am gay and proud and out. I have never been with a woman sexually, ever. I have never once felt a sexual feeling toward a woman. There is nothing about the female body that excites me. The male body does absolutely everything for my sexual drive.

As a straight guy, I cannot comprehend this.
But, then again, I cannot comprehend how women find men attractive either, nor how my own wife finds me attractive... so... yeah... it's a matter of taste, apparently.

I am a writer. I have written a book that was to be the first in a trilogy. I wrote it well, I think, but the public thought otherwise. I have the second book written but never published because the first did not do so well. I am not giving up on my writing. I just think I need to find a new direction.

If it's a trilogy, you need to get the whole thing out.
Unless you did it matrix style, where the first could stand on its own.

I love to jog. I was never much into physical fitness until high school when we were required to jog a mile for our class grade. I loved it and I joined the cross country team as well as the track team. I still jog to this day, running as much as ten miles in one day.

10 miles in one day.... how much time does that take out of the day?

I find it hard to relate to other people. I try, but they never make it any easier. Of course, working in the customer service business I suppose an attempt to relate is automatically made harder by the fact that there is a separation of understanding. It's them I'm right and me having to swallow my ego for the sake of a delusion.

Swallowing my ego is something I am not very good at doing. I try to pride myself in being quite stoic, because smiling is foreign to me, and I try to remain emotionless in facial appearance while altering my voice to alleviate any sense that I am less than honest and helpful.

Well - that's how it works here, in UK. Customer service is as poor as weather and food. Which I understand and - in fact - admire in a way. If someone is miserable, underpaid and over-worked, trapped by circumstances in a dead-end job, with a bunch of c***s for bosses - I think it's more honest and "human", if they let it come across. I find fake smiles and servility dishonest, patronizing and creepy.
