Indiana's Govenor Signs 'Religious Freedom' Bill

They just play Barbara Streisand over the speakers in their establishment and any man that taps his foot to it is denied service.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Counterproductive since at least half of the straight men would run, screaming, for the door. That's no way to run a business based on bigotry.

It seems to mainly be bakers and florists objecting to gay weddings. Problem there is the old farty jesus freak morons are either already married or so fucking ugly and stupid that they'll never marry. So they are going to discriminate against the young.... who make up a disproportionate share of the market.

That's fine. Xtians are fuckheads. No reason to think they would be any better at running a business than they are at running their lives.

I don't think this law will last long, it should fold under the first challenge, but I predict that while it lasts, the unintended consequences will be hilarious. I wonder how the Satanists will take advantage of this legislation?
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Lol yeah! They never think it through, do they. They can't distinguish between "religion" and "christian" any more than they can distinguish between "creator" and "The guy in the book mummy read to me".

Then they scream persecution when their own rules are applied to others consistently.

Newsflash christians: religions are entirely arbitrary. I can make one up right now and it's equally as valid as yours. So be careful what you wish for.

Apparently they plan to re-name it "The Jesus Hates Queers Bill" just in case anyone didn't get the message.

Lol.

The First Church of Cannabis has some 'religious freedoms' they want to express.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
