Well, I didn't think you were worth my time, and while that much is confirmed now, I can at least bow out from this discussion proud of having made a clear demonstration of the fact that calling one's self an "atheist" or a "skeptic" doesn't make one more pervious to reason.

So what makes you think that the scribes didn't write the BS story?  It's obvious that they referred to the Bible layout in order to make their fraud.

Ultimately, God always wanted people to accept his Mastership and authority and guidance, through his chosen ones, so it makes sense he will safeguard a chosen one among his creation, for the end of times, when humanity will accept the truth and follow it.

So then by the shia Islam perspective god has failed in achieving what he wants, if he wants people to accept his guidance and your cult are the people following that guidance it's a massive failure, since Islam is less widespread than Christianity and Shia Islam is in the vast vast minority in Islam.

The Quran is filled  with silly crap like this.  Bizarre tall tales of Gog and Magog, Alexander the Great witnessing the sun setting in a mud puddle at the end of the world and more.  Tiresome threats of hellfire, tales of comets chasing eavesdropping djinns from Allah's  throne and more.  Having read the miserable Quran from beginning to end, I have  no belief whatsoever that this mess came from God via angel Gabriel.  I have no more belief in the Quran than the Book of Mormon and for the same reason. Neither book is intellectually respectable.

This is not a specific argument, but a general argument to the general structure of my religion, and why I believe the Quran is true as it's the only holy book to emphasize on the following wisdom in a majestic, thorough, and from many angles manner:


It's by logic that we know there exist the best of humans who reached sublime ranks and raced ahead of others in good deeds. It's by logic that we know these people would be special in God's eyes. They being guided and their path being straight, are, the best people equipped to lead humanity.

The theme of what God does with his best servants is in Quran, and the way he honored them, speaks of a praise and exalted grace of God, mercy, and love, and God is ever bountiful! This praise of God on how he treats his best friends and masters upon creations, has a hidden wisdom, that is manifest through how God actually acted with many of these honorable people, and this how God proves the basis of his religion.

MysticKnight, it seems your argument assumes the truth of the Quran while proving the truth of the Quran. I know my critique is an oversimplification, but it seems like a problem in your argument.

I believe in the wisdom manifested about how God uses his exalted ones in Quran and how he treats them. I also believe exalted ones exist rationally. When I say the wisdom is in the Quran, that's not to say I believe in the wisdom due it being in Quran, but rather I believe in the Quran due the wisdom that is in it.

Of course there is good people from all religions, but, we can know people of higher wisdom will follow the truth and not incline to falsehood, the best people God would honor them with exalted wisdom since it's a virtue to seek wisdom, and they would seek it being the best people.

You really have to have faith in the Exalted Station of God and believe God raises ranks by his own very truth, to believe their exists these high ranks.

God being infinitely graceful would create infinite souls, and there is bound to be souls that incline to the most praiseworthy acts and intentions.

I believe then God creates infinite universes with infinite sentient life, and begins and seals guidance with the most sincere most praiseworthy most exalted ones where ever sentient life is found.
