You see....those are the only two choices we have.
The US has managed to make your political system about who can get the most money for campaigning and this has given business unjustified power.
It's partly because of the overly complex process which takes ages.
In the UK the election takes just over a moth in the US it never stops.
No argument here.

Even when republicunt asswipes wake up they still fuck the wrong people!
http://america.aljazeera.com/opinions/20...party.html
Quote:Conservative U.S. governors who came to power during the 2010 tea party electoral wave are facing a reality check. A few years ago, catering to a far-right constituency, they campaigned on pledges of slashing taxes and bolstering business. Their subsequent policies have benefited the wealthy but failed to bring trickle-down prosperity to their states.
It is the morning after the tea party. Republican governors are waking up to a sluggish job market, stagnant wages, state deficits and impoverished services. The party’s trickle-down ideology is no way to manage a government. And a state cannot be run on tax cuts alone.
But all is not promising because....
Quote:Conservative governors now recognize the need to generate revenue to maintain schools and highways. But they are still not taking responsibility and cleaning up the messes they have created. Rather than reversing tax cuts for the wealthy, many are implementing regressive measures that penalize middle-class taxpayers.
“Of the 10 or so Republican governors who have proposed tax increases, nearly all have called for increases in consumption taxes, which hit the poor and middle class harder than the rich,” The New York Times reported last month. This includes new taxes on gas, e-cigarettes, movie tickets and services such as haircuts.
Is anyone even remotely surprised?

I'm not sure why anyone would think trickle down economics works, when it didn't work the last two or three times they tried it. every time they deregulate and cut taxes on the rich, the economy suffers.

The proponents of the plans are not the ones who suffer. They make out just fine. The question to ask is why is the american electorate so fucking stupid that they keep electing these rich cocksuckers?
Aye... there's the rub!

The average theistic voter only cares that those for whom they vote mention god all the time while showing the same disdain for what christians seem to universally abhor.

Yes, the rich are too busy to go to protests themselves, so as usual they create new jobs for unemployed lefties. What's the problem?

They create new jobs in other countries, where they can pay people less, and anything that trickles down is trickling elsewhere. The problem is that depressions and recessions are bad for a country.

Sure as fuck don't want to see any republicunt who has his lips surgically attached to their libertarian asses in the WH.

They have spent the past eight years (when they won seats in the 2006 mid-term elections) betraying their constituents and selling America out to the highest bidder. Um no they are not.
They have been pulled to the right over the past 30 years because of two things, unlike the bratty asshole GOP we actually do believe in compromise but we do it too much. Second reason is our voters suck at midterms.
Dems are on the right side of both social and economic history. Our execution sucks. But you are right global corporatism isn't helping.
