Isn't homosexuality as referenced in the Bible about the sexual expression*? I mean that's where this whole argument about homosexuality seems to stem from in the first place.
That being said, I once heard a pastor say that the Ancient Greek manuscripts when mentioning homosexuality in the New Testament, had the word homosexual refer to both the active and passive verb tense.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Homosexuality is never actually mentioned in the bible. That is mere modern interpretation.
The bible originally meant femininity, because feminine men were frowned upon in those ancient times.

No, as far as I'm aware, the bible makes no clear reference to homosexuality at all. It would be asking a lot for people of that era to understand it when a significant number of people today still don't.
Which makes the amount of time Christians spend hating gays seem rather petty, eh? Who cares about what God says when everyone just thinks he says something to your advantage.
Say whenever I try to talk to my friend about cars, he instantly starts talking about a particular brand of car, and a specific model of that brand. He seemingly won't even acknowledge other cars exist.
What could I conclude from that?

The reason homosexuality is not mentioned specifically in the Bible is because if fell within a general category of sexual sin, porneia, that includes all forms of sexual sin and perversity, including heterosexual sodomy and adultery. But that's what you get when atheists read the bible because they're just looking for loopholes to justify their basest desires.

Yeah, atheists are such dick weeds. I'll slap the crap out of the next one I see. Ow! Whoops, mirror.
If sin makes God angry, upset, disappointed, or even surprised, why is he having human emotions?

Two thoughts: Firstly, I don't think clarity is too much to ask for from a book like the bible; if god had bothered to have a little more of that in his works you might not have thousands of splinter denominations around today, and moreover we wouldn't have people like you, Chad, who make these big stark claims about what the words really mean, but have absolutely no means beyond their own presuppositions to demonstrate that their interpretation aligns with the original authorial intent. Essentially, if the bible was actually clear then you wouldn't need to fart out these interpretations into the ether like this, demanding that they're true because you say they are.
And secondly, your last sentence is utter trash: atheists read the bible, a book they don't believe to be binding or true, in order to find loopholes in rules they don't believe to be authoritative, so they can justify desires that require no justification to begin with, as we don't accept the moral component to them that you do? Really? And you're going to make this sweeping statement already in possession of the knowledge that at least some atheists are not gay, and thus have no need to justify the acts you're claiming they do?
I mean, I know you're just shitposting because you don't have anything of substance to add, but fuck, you could at least attempt some form of cogency.

It's funny that we can outwit God by finding loopholes in his one and only rule book. Ahah!
He should get a good lawyer cos I'm taking this one all the way baby.
Err... I don't know what that meant.

Worse yet: that some theists are homosexuals.
The truth is absolute. Life forms are specks of specks (...) of specks of dust in the universe.
Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?

Some rather vocal ones at that. There have been several incidents where anti gay pastors have been cought with rent boys. If there's smoke there's usually fire. And if someone is vocally obsessed with certain sexual behaviors, their mind speaks even louder than their voice. I for one don't spend my days imagining how other people perform in the privacy of their bedrooms.

Par the course at the moment for you isn't it Chad? Take a dump on a thread with baseless unsupported assertions then fuck off to another thread to start the process all over again.
Poor form.
Where have all the good theists gone?
