A person's past does not necessarily reflect who they are in the now. I was a typical post-adolescent man child in my early twenties. I played college football, had an ego the size of Jupiter, and I went to college parties as if my shit smelled pretty. I had sex quite a bit.

My priorities changed when I was about 26. I cannot chalk it up to anything other than maturing. It was no longer about sowing my wild oats, as it were, and more about forming a connection. I am not ashamed of my past. I was a superlative form of a typical college student.

My current girlfriend has no problem forming a connection with me, nor I to her.

It's different for men. Women are more emotional and they get attached very quickly. But when she has sex with lots of different people, she becomes far less able to bond with a man. This is a well known fact and it's hilarious that you're arguing about it. You know it and I know it. I used to make up insane stories about my toys too. Luckily, my parents taught me the difference between fantasy and reality, and also gave me enough sense of purpose that I didn't feel the need to make shit up on forums for attention and Teh Lulz.
