He may not have abducted her, but we don't know if she loved him at all. It could simply have been lust. If they did love each other, then maybe they got married. In this case, Jon Snow would not be a bastard if R+L=J. But it's all still supposition unfortunately

Shit guuurl. When Rhaegar Targaryen names you Queen of Love and Beauty, you fall in love. Deep, infatuous, fangirl love.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I agree. Rhaegar was all that is man.
All were in awe of the Silver Prince. All were known to praise the Dragon Prince. All may have feared the Last Dragon. RE: Game of Thrones Season 5 Discussion [SPOILERS WITHIN]

Rhaegar was supposed to have been very handsome and charming...
More so than Robert Barathon, I think we can all agree on that (at least on the latter)
Well, to be fair, in his youth, Robert was a gallant lad. Wine and ale and boar and whoring took it's toll on him. When Ned first sees him after 8 years, he can hardly believe his eyes...
But he was definitely no Rhaegar. Silver hair, Violet eyes. Matte black armor with gold inlay deep red insets, and Red, Yellow, and Orange streamers from his helm and ruby brooches holding his cape. He was a musician and an excellent swordsman and jouster. But Robert's warhammer caved his chest in nonetheless.

Very true. I believe it was Jorah that said:

True enough, which is actually pretty sad.
Not going to lie when I say I kind of fangirl over Rhaegar. He's just too cool. |
