You need to get out more. Or just look around the internet a bit more than you have.

I am actually a well traveled person. I've been in about half the states and a dozen or more foreign countries.
I guess the ultra stupidity is hard to see sometimes.

Just imagine if more people had voted third-party, instead of bending over fatalistically, before arguing that the status quo is preferable.
I'm not sure Al Gore could have withstood the corporatist pressure to ignite the useless conflict in Iraq, anyway. He never did strike me as having strength of character, not that I know him personally.

Oh I don't think we'd have gone into Iraq without an all out effort on the part of the president to misrepresent the situation both to the U.N. and to the american people. Without Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bush and their dog Powell we don't go into Iraq.

The invasion of Iraq was already being endorsed under the Clinton Administration. Frankly, a lot of the BS we had to deal with under Bush started under Clinton.

You're going to get 2.9 million people to vote for a 3d party? It's a pipe dream. You want to make a difference? Do what the jesus-loving asswipes did to the republicunt party. Take over the Democratic party and force it to a progressive position. Go all out. Because what you are going to find is that, just as now, it is the independents who decide the winners while the parties decide who are the candidates.

I'd vote for whoever wasn't the most insane, which in US politics apparently is a pretty tall order.

If they make it to the actual election (well, TPO notwithstanding), they're not the right choice.
