It just means that Iroscato is British. The British worship tea. That is why they built an empire, and took over India. They really wanted tea. Gandhi could have saved himself a lot of time and trouble if he had just promised the British all the tea they wanted, if only they would leave and let India rule itself.
As long as Britain has enough tea, they will never be a big problem in the world. If we cut off their tea supply, they would probably take over the world. Either that, or they would all die trying.
Britain has nuclear weapons. If the tea trade to Britain were cut off, they would use their nuclear weapons to change that situation.
