I've explained most that there is to explain about racism + marginalization (which takes similar forms in most societies around the world) + criminality. Blaming racism, if there is proof, is rational and even something people ought to do to raise social awareness.
Ugh, I've tried about 5 fuckin' times to explain the point to you dude. You still don't get it.
Hell I'm not the only one to notice, Bad Wolf also said you've misinterpreted my posts to a ridiculous degree. I've literally spelled it out for you, yet you still go on about other shit which isn't really relevant to the point.
At this point I'm not really going to respond to the thread because I flat out can't be arsed. May as well just let it die.

Bad Wolf does that anytime I disagree with him so I'm ignoring him in this topic. Having someone backing you up is not even relevant - What do you want me to understand exactly? That it's scientifically possible to get out of the ghetto? I get that

You do realize how bigoted he was, right? Especially against gays?

God will forgive me for agreeing with AT.
Oh, wait.
Anyway, it links back to the post I liked. AT hit it on the head for my money. The little twats are using the rubric of "civil rights" in order to act out selfish mayhem -- I mean, if they were angry at the police, why are they looting a drug store? Why not attack a police station?
That's right, go to the head of the class; it's because they don't stock valuable stuff in police stations.
A riot is not a protest. I'm no fan of the police here in America, at all, and I certainly allow that anger towards the cops is justified. But if you're going to get violent because you're angry at cops, the appropriate target of your violence is, well, the cops -- not the homes and businesses of innocent strangers.

The point being? I base my avatars more on characters and the job performers do than the person itself (the actor/actress), just like when I put a musician I don't care about his political belief but about the music produced. Wagner is a great composer (Was...) and he was highly anti-Semitic and inspired Hitler. I still love his music

My point being is that I am a gay man struggling for gay marriage to be recognized thanks to idiots like Eastwood.
Thank goodness his son is doing something to change things around.

Because in America, the stereotype held by bigots regarding black folk is lazy, shiftless, unwilling to work, dishonest, violent, thieving ...
So when even a small minority of blacks go out and violently steal stuff, the bigots will revel in their confirmation bias.
This is not calculus ... it's simple sociology.

The answer to your point was in the rest of the quote that you edited out.
You're being a little trollish in this thread, Kit. Tone it down a little. [/modhat]
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
