They're great. They do a killer version of "War Pigs", too.

In no particular order:

Female vocals
Annette Strean

Guitar
Joe Satriani

Percussion
Neil Peart (runner up Mike Mangini)

Male vocals
Dieter Meier
Quote:Meier is not only a performance artist, but a millionaire industrialist, a professional poker player, and also one-time member of the Swiss national golf team.
So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat? Huh

Yeah... Except that the term was coined by Led Zeppelin to describe their own music. Big Grin It's why Jethro Tull was awarded the first ever Heavy Metal Grammy for their "Crest of a Knave" album.

So, top three... Hmm....
Jethro Tull
Billy Joel
Beethoven (particularly the glorious ninth!)

Smart man! Tongue

In all seriousness though, taste in entertainment is soooooooo subjective.

Ohhhhhhh. Yes, yes. A blues and jazz thread would be most welcome.

I have never been a fan of their music, but a better collection of male voices may never be heard. Those boys could sing. I just didn't like what they sang.

Wait, does Beethoven count!?

I will argue that, while he was alive, his music was popular. Big Grin

Great thread!

I've recently started listening to jazz, too. I'm too new to it to have a top three though.
"Faith is a state of openness or trust. To have faith is like when you trust yourself to the water. You don't grab hold of the water when you swim, because if you do you will become stiff and tight in the water, and sink. You have to relax, and the attitude of faith is the very opposite of clinging, and holding on. In other words, a person who is fanatic in matters of religion, and clings to certain ideas about the nature of God and the universe becomes a person who has no faith at all. Instead they are holding tight. But the attitude of faith is to let go, and become open to truth, whatever it might turn out to be."
