So, to put it in perspective all NDE cases are just another story of hallucinations and nothing more. It is the result of a drug manipulating the patients mind during the cardiac arrest.

Probably not exactly simply a drug, it may be more complicated, but since they can be induced this way, that is a very plausible explanation.

There was this thread from a while back which could have some bearing on it:

http://atheistforums.org/thread-32646.html

Neurons in the brain fire in sync with the heart, which seemed to me like the brain trying to jumpstart the heart. That would be one very good explanation for the massive amount of brain activity during cardiac arrest.

Soul = life   Death = soulless

If we asked ourselves. What is soul? if it's like asking. What is death?

Of course, I cannot provide you with a "tangible" evidence that soul exist... I cannot point at it... or even describe it...
During NDE, the brain activity is still functioning properly, unconsciously you can hear voices, dialogues from the surroundings. (I only can base evidence on people's experiences)

1. In this article, the patient describes how is it feel to be gliding in the air, observing the operation from above, while hearing what the doctors are saying.

site: http://www.bbc.com/future/story/20150303...ike-to-die

2. I believe NDE should be explained by Psychiatrists rather than scientists. As it is related to the mind. luckily the well-known psychiatrist Carl Jung had an NDE in his life:

- This is an excerpt from his autobiography entitled Memories, Dreams, Reflections, describing his NDE.
site: http://www.near-death.com/jung.html

He sates in regards of his experience: "as the ecstasy of a non-temporal state in which present, past, and future are one.", and "Everything that happens in time had been brought together into a concrete whole."

No problem, Prince, look: what is death? Death is the permanent ending of vital processes. Now, what is a soul? 'Life' is hardly a definition, since they're not even synonymous.

When you say you can't provide 'tangible'[sic] evidence, it means you can't provide actual evidence. Like that sneaky smart ass Alex already explained when he beat me to it again, NDEs are a)explainable in ways other than 'miracle' or 'soul' - whatever that means and b)often hoaxes.

I'm asking for a definition. Just what is a soul? A process? A substance? An object?

That sounds kind of gross...are souls contagious?

Hehe ...
HeyJericho, are you OK?   You look white as a ghost!  Hehe.
Are negro's ghosts "white as a ghost"? What do they say?

According to the Mormons, the black people's souls have pe-sinned big time, even before they were born. No black souls go to heaven, at all, until all the white souls are safely aboard.

Don't you just luv those fucking Mormons ??

If you are interested in reading about Mormonism and racism, you can start with:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_peop..._Mormonism

http://www.alternet.org/belief/mormon-ch...-no-longer

http://www.darronsmith.com/2012/11/unpac...retations/

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/darron-t-s...40244.html

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/12/10...18703.html

You can also search for "mormon racism" and come up with many more articles, but these are probably more than you want.  According to the Book of Mormon, dark skin is a curse (see links above, particularly the second and third links).  The modern Mormon church disavows this, but it is part of their sacred text.  It is the usual sort of nonsense that religions do.  They latch on to some stupid crap, and later on have to distance themselves from their own moronic scriptures.

RE: Souls?
Yeah, the Mormons were never racist themselves, in fact, they kept beseeching God to lighten up (heh, heh) on the subject until He did.

See! The Mormons have always been less racist than God.

RE: Souls?
Have any of you ever heard of Spiritism?
It's a religion based on a Christianity with pseudoscientific and philosophical elements.
It has become extremely popular in Brazil, over 14% of our population already subscribes to it.

They believe that they soul/spirit is actually divided in two, the perispirit and the spirit.

Sure, since we're making shit up, why stop at just 1 soul or two. I postulate out of my ass that there are infinite souls!

Now, give me your money.
