Freaky Physics Proves Parallel Universes Exist

I've always found these things interesting. Of course it's possible, but not proven. I've always treated it as something to mentally stimulate when I'm bored, but nothing more. The problem I have is that if parallel universes exist they cannot be proven. It's not nearly as simple Michael Chrichton's Timeline. This is why I've never taken it seriously....I still appreciate you sharing though. It'll give me something to read

Hmmm, I have always dismissed time travel because of how it would disrupt the second law of thermodynamics. The universe only moves one way. The electron location is perhaps a perception problem with humans who tend to visualize electrons as round balls.

Well its theoretical physics that predicts that physical space has 10 or 11 dimensions, but this doesn't prove the existence of parallel universes. To date, no physical experiments have confirmed the reality of any additional dimensions.

Another obstacle is how we each perceive space and time, with regards to the laws of thermodynamics, we have concepts of time that may well be incorrect, a four-dimensional manifold maybe manifesting right in front of us this very second, but until its confirmed then there's no reason to assume it is even there.

The debate continues, but we are close to learning the possibilities of such events.

There has to be a limit to the number of parallel universes, otherwise a different universe would exist for every single scenario left to chance before I chose to post this response, and after. So if there are an infinite amount of parallel universes with infinite possibilities and infinite results, well that just becomes a headache. So far as we know, everything in the universe has limits, the universe itself has limits, that being 15 billion lightyears, as any light beyond that hasn't reached us yet. Interesting theories however, just a little too open for my tastes.

I'm by no means an expert on this subject, but I think the possibility of parallel universes could be explained as probabilities only. Maybe they exist for a fraction of a quantum moment until the probability becomes a fixed value.

Say for example an atom is split, an electron at this point may either zig or zag. For a quantum moment it is actually doing both, until one probability becomes actual, at which point the 'false' probability wave/reality collapses.

Whether this is on the right track or whether it is pure fantasy will have to remain speculation until someone can figure it out.

There is that famous quote which i'll try and paraphrase here: If you think you understand quantum mechanics then you do not understand it. (or if you are not confused by QM then you do not understand it... something like this).

I both do and don't understand QM, it all depends on when I am observed.

So if you throw a dice six entire new universes have to spring into existence to permit the six possible outcomes.

And then you have to allow for all the possible trajectories before it comes to rest and all the possible places it could come to rest in.

THEN you take a bucket full of die and perform the same experiment............

So when you make the logical extrapolation it means that every nanosecond uncountable infinities of universes are being created and

in turn creating even more infinitudes of universes to cater for all the possibilities of those universes.

Hmmmmm...........

..maybe this explains why Einstein said 'god doesn't play dice'..
