I actually spent several hours trying to talk him down on a Google hang out. Waste of a night, in the end, as far as getting through to him went.

Also, I realized that it hasn't felt quite as long as almost-five-years that I've been here, but in internet time, that's a lot. And by the time you joined, he'd really gone downhill in participation.
