Calling out religion for its dishonest

Calling out religion for its dishonest
Religion should be called out on its obvious dishonesty religion shouldn't be treated all that well it should be mocked for what is and the belief set.

People really do need to grow up, we as a species need to put the god delusion behind us. Blind faith prayer etc its all just acts of nothing really

prayer is just really thinking hard about wanting something instead of going and trying get something you want instead or at least try hard to get.

You have the muslim faith trying to say with scientific advancements oh allah gave us that knowledge no don't let them take that they just piggy back off

the hard working and say god did it to make them look good. All in all it has to start somewhere were religion needs to be cruelly mocked for being dishonest.

Science has the answers since when does someone open the bible and start reading in the beginning there was the big bang or a few hundred pages later

read mass = energy squared they wont and they will never. Religion needs to be torn down so people can start really looking at their beliefs at their core

for what it is a mechanism for control over the hearts and minds of people feeding off of their ignorance and pocketing their money. Because who is truly

the bad the man sitting up on his high horse taking peoples money and proclaiming he as the truth with no evidence and wont help if you you are not apart

of herd or the one who has evidence and who is willing to help you despite not being apart of the herd.

That's one theory of what religion is, but not the only one. I discount it for several reasons. First, I think it's a simplistic approach to what motivates religious people. Second, it tends to be most accurate when describing certain Judeo-Christian religions and terrible at describing others. Taoism, Buddhism, Jainism and others are ill-fit by this theory. Third, I believe that multiple theories have something to add to our understanding of religion, and, that no one theory covers all bases. Fourth, I find the "brain side-effect' theory does a better job of explaining the motivations and drives toward the religious impulse.

Religion also relies on most people not understanding what the argument from ignorance is.

This goes a long way to explain why most people latch on to the nearest religion and reject all the others. Along with indoctrination of course. Once you got that AFI in place, and you have your first set of "answers" it's too late for anything else to sit in the fortress. First come, first served. Last orders. Drinks all round, have a logic cocktail.

Get out of that fortress and come sit on the hill with me.

Also the fact being you cannot have a religion that makes sense because if it makes sense what is there to have blind faith for.
