LOL The current government in the majority of the world is not working?!

This capitalism in america is not working. Our ecomomy was on the verge of collapse because of the greed of capitalism. Our legs were faultering and almost brought us to our knees because of the greed of the few outweighing the needs of the many.

How's things ecomomy-wise over in the UK? How about Canada? How about the rest of the 1st world countries who also have a heavily mixed socialism/capitalism style of government?

The economy in the UK is pretty shit at the moment due to some extremely stupid economic policies from our Ex-Chancellor and current Prime Minister (not for much longer I hope).

Anarcho-capitalist libertarianism is nothing like the US's so called "capitalism". Capitalism works when done right, and personally I see Anarcho-capitalist libertarianism as holding much potential. My country's policies allow the rich to get away with rape, Anarcho-capitalist libertarianism doesn't (theoretically) work that way.

Almost every economic system junkie says "If X was done right, then Y wouldn't have happened", etc,.

Reminds me of the crazy communists on campus. Seriously - nothing is perfect in this world. Not hard atheism, not communism and certainly not pure capitalism/socialist/whateverism.

I like anarcho-primitivism. Walking upright is bad for the environment! Don't build anything. In fact, kill yourself now and save the trouble.

Anyway, depending on how you define "works", lots of things might apply. There is a reason that so many countries use a mixture of socialistic and capitalistic policies: because it does work, and does so very well.

Or because pure capitalism and communism are very extreme. And an average, rational governmental system would fall somewhere between what are the two edges of a spectrum.

It does depend on how you define 'work'. The billionaires are happy, the trees are a little pissed off.
