I'm best at Nasus, and competent with Jax, Darius and Katarina at the moment. I'm thinking of focusing on Katarina for now, I do like my Fighters and damage dealers

I'm getting quite suspicious of the matchmaking algorithm lately - it seems as though I go a few matches with great teams that really pull together and kick arse, and then get a streak playing with the most backward bunch of reckless, feckless nobjockeys it's possible to imagine.
Almost like the game is keeping your w/l ratio in check...hmmmm....

That being said, I was -15 in normals, and now + a few, and that's with some clearly losing teams that I managed to carry, and a few champs that carried me when I was having a bad game. So while you get hot and cold streaks, I reckon you gotta hit over 50% in normal play.

I find jg is a position of huge responsibility. An early gank can not only feed me, it gives the laner an extra minute of free cs and a big advantage. I find when I play blitzcrank or garen, I'm at like 55% maybe, Tristana maybe 40%, but Udyr. . . my record so far is freaking stellar. . . like 80% over about 20 games or something maybe.

I've also been practising with Tryndamere lately after he brutalised me as Nasus (two matches in a row!)

He's...something else. Once you start building him up he starts to turn into an absolute juggernaut, that's almost impossible to pin down thanks to his Spinning Slash doubling as an excellent escape mechanism. Add to that his healing ability and his ulti which makes him LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to kill for 5 seconds, and it's little wonder he made dog noodle soup of poor Nasus twice over...

Funny you should say that, Nasus is seen as a hard counter to Tryndamere, if you build him right. To win the matchup as Nasus, you simply stack armor and hp, and build your stacks up to, say, 200 or so. Then you can easily dominate him. However, as a former Tryndamere main, there are ways around Nasus. When playing as Trynd, I rush an early last whisper to shred that armor and a blade of the ruined king for the lifesteal and % health damage. After that go the usual IE, Phantom Dancer, Bloodthirster etc

You can't beat a properly runed Nasus in the toplane by yourself Sej. He has @ 20% lifesteal at lvl 1.....all your HP belongs to Nasus, the tankier you are, the longer he can stay in lane. You simply disrupt his farm to remove him from lategame (still wont work if he;s smart, he'll just build tank - thankfully he aint smart, as a rule), where he wrecks no matter how many times you might kill him. Exhaust, again, is your friend, he can't counter exhaust. Nasus is abusive top but depends heavily on the guy playing him understanding why, which they often don;'t, which is why you might find yourself winning and mis-attributing it to your build or personal skill. Jungle beats Nasus, not the toplaner himself. Been that way for ages. On the "im playing Nasus" end, stat entirely for lifesteal, and bait the toplaner by deliberately trading to low health - and then stomping the shit out of him out of nowhere. CDR is your friend, don;t build damage. Shield and lucy are how you get damage, not actual -damage- items. Makes you tanky as all get out too. 4/26/0 build (or even a support build with 4 points in offense -dirty secrets folks, dirty secrets). You'll still hit harder than the adc, amusingly.
