Some theists are just to far gone

Some theists are just to far gone
I say it because its true just because i take the stance of reality and not mysticism. Apparently i am in the wrong for not choosing a imaginary
friend over reality and then called various names because i don't believe and then asked to give evidence to support my stance. Then the kicker
the funny thing here is a theists tried to use science to support god using the higgs field.. some people are just to far gone.

wait wait even better they said they were pray for me.

But they better go find some magic dust while they are at it xD

Adam, is that you? I didn't know you were on AF. You crazy GModder, you.

Yeah, some are really too far gone. It's usually more effective to go for the more liberal to moderate theists, than to worry about a fundy. Unfortunately one of the most famous fundies around here, Ken Ham, gets to indoctrinate many kids. Thanks Australia.

I'm not Adam but i do know him i gotten into games with him. Same with other famous youtubers.

People need to realize that well... children should be taught religion later on in life than early on.
Well now it doesn't matter because kids are going to call out and say magic is bullshit these days thanks to technology.
But even still the mindset of christians like the one above is not helping their religion it is really toxic to their own cause;

I'm not so sure about that.  Often, the liberal types have such a watered-down version of Christianity that it is nearly impossible to nail down anything.  If they don't take the Bible too seriously, they are not likely to be concerned with problems with the Bible.  The thing is, without something like the Bible, there is no basis for Christianity at all.  But with a fundamentalist, you have some idea of what you are dealing with and problems in the Bible are problems for them.

In my case, I was raised a Southern Baptist, a fundamentalist type of Christian, and it is through looking at the claims carefully that it all fell apart for me.  Being a half-assed Christian was not something I ever considered, nor would I consider it.  If Christianity were true, it would be the most important thing in the world.  But if it isn't (and it isn't), then throwing it all away makes the most sense.

If we think of the Bible as just another book (or set of books) written by a bunch of people, not divinely inspired, there is no reason to pay much attention to it, as a bunch of primitive people are very likely to get a whole lot of things wrong.  In which case, there is no basis for Christianity at all, and so it should just be discarded entirely.  If, however, it were essentially written by god (divinely inspired, with god basically controlling the writers in their writing), then it all needs to be right.  If a bit of it is wrong, then it is unreliable as a guide, and consequently can't be trusted for how one should live one's life.  But if you are dealing with someone who is too stupid to get this, that it is either divinely inspired or it isn't, how do you argue with them, to convince them that they should stop pretending to use the Bible for a guide, when it clearly is pretend, since they don't recognize it all as correct?

I have noticed nothing in the universe originates fully developed and complex. Everything started from a simple structure and advanced over time. Everything but god, that is. How can he have always existed, fully developed, complex and omnipotent? Shut a theist up. They really do go too far. It boggles my mind. I would say they have already found the 'magic dust' and are smoking it on the regular.

Although I have never been apart of any organized religion and a atheist for as long as I can remember, I always thought that if I were a believer I would be the model/ideal believer and pleasing my God would be my daily tasks. Nothing would be more important. But as we see, the God of Abraham is not real and therefore I strive to be the model/ideal atheist instead.

Doesn't it seem really asinine that you need to believe in god to get into heaven? Even if you are the worlds greatest person
and a atheist it doesn't matter that kind of double standard is what always deeply troubled me. Its like we come into this world
not knowing of any of this bullshit then we are told we are born into sin and we need to repent even though we are good people i mean
good decent people. All in all because in some book 2 people were set up to fail in the first place and god has to much of a hissy fit
to forgive the people that ate the apple but instead punishes the whole human race. Even in then it should have the believe questioning
it like how do the biblical writers know this happen or even yet were there to witness this. because even that story is really iffy like who is
the third or fourth party to see that happen.

Believing without seeing isn't something the absolute truth would ever encourage. The great thing about truth is that it passes all tests of existence. It isn't scared of skepticism. It wouldn't insist of believing without evidence. If someone has to shut you out, instead of your arguments, they've already lost the debate.
