In defense of Satan

RE: In defense of Satan
EvF asked:"What sort of relationship?"

I don't know it might be a little homosexual one since one of their favorite hymns is entitled 'He touched me'. Is this hymn about Jesus or the priesthood?

i want to clarify something on your post chatpilot

Satan did not liberate us
on verse 5(NIV)
the serpent said to the woman. 5 "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
yes, truly you will be like God. you will be the God of your own lives.
satan provoke them by saying "knowing Good and evil and be like God"
actually Adam and eve knew only Good. but satan said you will know good and EVIL. meaning they will began to doubt everything they do.

Satan only wants to insult God that his creation will fall into his hands.

your second is that about the revelations

truly God did not kill Satan because God DO NOT KILL. may be you'll ask me why God let people die in this world or maybe in OT. God only kill flesh but not the man. remember that in the bible there it is written about eternal life, the spirits.
God have justice thats why he put satan in jail. and his jail is the world
God have mercy because he did not kill satan.

I have a question that may be a little off topic. I was having a conversation with my Jesus freak of a nephew recently. He was talking about how he is interested in quantum physics and tried to explain the perception people have of time and string theory and other things I know nothing about. At one point I said something about the earth being 4 billion years old or so then he piped up and said 'I believe the earth is only 6000 years old because our perception of time is wrong.' I said to him 'And you're insane.' Anyway I really don't know anything about quantum physics or quantum anything for that matter, but it got me wondering if he likes that subject because it can make 'the earth is 6000 years old' argument make sense to him? Am I off base about this? Does anyone know anything about quantum physics and have you heard any Jesus people leaning this way? Just curious.

His perception of Quantum Physics is at fault!

QP is consisent with an old universe, there is no way you can arrive at a young universe using it.

Wait a minute! "God" put "Satan" in jail, and his jail "is the world"? I thought your deity loves us! But according to what you say, your deity puts us on a planet and then turns the most evil force in creation loose among us! That's your idea of love? Why not put "Satan" in "jail" on Jupiter? You know... like some place that he can't do any harm? If you were a judge, would you send a killer to "jail" and have him live in a house with your children?
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.

God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?

Apparently god is something of a shmuck when it comes to long-term planning.

And people try to tell me that their deity is the most brilliant being in existence! Apparently, this "brilliant" being would send a monkey into a gasoline depot carrying a road flare...

'God' can be no smarter than the primitive humans who invented him.

Good point. This explains why there is nothing in their holy book that wasn't known at the time they were written. For example, the Babble alludes to a flat Earth. It also makes no mention of lands or scientific advances that hadn't yet been discovered.

Well then my nephew makes no sense. If he is into Quantum Physics like he says, but still believes the earth is 6000 years old, I think he's a bit confused. I truly believe he thinks he knows more than he actually knows. If I knew more about the subject it would be great fun to correct him next time he brings this upBig Grin I guess I better do some reading, ha ha ha.

Short answer: no.
Long answer: nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

God is hardly pro-life. If you intend to start quoting people on the Bible the least you could do is actually bother to read it properly for once.
