People in the quiverfull movement don't allow god to decide everything they do.  I'm sure they teach their children to look both ways before they cross the street instead of depending on god and stepping into the road without looking for a car.  When it comes to women's health they are willing to blindly trust a god that they don't blindly trust in other parts of their lives. 

That is because women are unimportant to them.  In the case of crossing streets, boys do that, so they need to be taught to look both ways.  That girls hear it too is not a problem, as they may then live long enough to breed boys if they don't get run over as little girls.

this is how the enemy tempts us. He does not tempt you with that which is blatantly evil for he knows you would take no notice. Instead, he tempts us with that which sounds wise and good. This was his first temptation to Eve in the Garden of Eden? How could the enemy tempt someone who personally walked and talked with God each day? He did it by sounding "good," "wise," and "pleasant" (Genesis 3:6).

This is just a reminder of how easy it is to interpret scripture as support for whatever point you want to make. The conversation between Eve and the serpent went like this:

Serpent: So I hear that god won't let you eat from any of the trees here?
Eve: No, just that one over there.
Serpent: Yeah, well, god's a filthy liar. That fruit will make you a superstar!
Eve: Well, since you put it that way...

Apparently, that is what passes for "good, wise, and pleasant" in some people's eyes. Oh, that crafty Satan! Using the old "he's a liar" ploy to pull one over on a woman who was BEST FRIENDS WITH GOD. The devil just doesn't play fair, I guess. Toughest. Adversary. Evar.

That's a good observation.  Even Jesus had sense enough not to step off the pinnacle of the temple.  He didn't trust God to catch him.
