Just for fun.

Prove to me that the moon exists as a real object in space and not a hologram or figment of my imagination.
The rules are strict. We all know the moon is real, so proving it should be easy, right?
This is an opportunity for the theists and atheists to practice logic and reasoning together on something we all agree on (I think?).

Easy. Something the Greeks worked out centuries ago.
The crescent shape shadow of the moon is the curvature of the earth with the sun behind it.
So basically, I'm happy to call the moon false, but you'll also need to call the earth equally false.
Cause and effect.

You could get the same effect with just a flat cardboard moon. Or just simulate it with the hologram.

This is just a trap. You have not specified anything about what counts as evidence, so you will just ignore evidence you feel like ignoring.
Besides, the moon is just a figment of your imagination.

It is not a trap. We know the moon is real. This is just an exercise. You cannot say it is real just because you think it is and of course most, if not all of us, are unlikely to be able to make a trip there and that would only be proof for them and still hearsay for the rest of us.
What would constitute valid proof?
If this were easy, what fun would that be?

The moon is real because if it were a hologram clouds moving it front of it would block the hologram from being projected properly.
Now the next part being if you ever had experience with holograms then you would see were i am getting at. You have a hologram
that can project so your saying the moon is a hologram. But here is the initial problem with that not only clouds during the night
but during the day. Since you can see the moon during the day
example
doing that type of holographic work during the day time would have to be impressive and expensive. Then the other thing would be who and or what is casting that out into space. Its the same thing why we cannot build light sabers no force field to stop the lasers emitting. Well you could have a curved object out there doing that but even still it would be ridiculous.

I wonder what Occam's razor has to say about unevidenced entities.

Do we get lighter during high tide? Surely if the moon can lift billions of cubic meters of water against the earth's gravity, humans should pose no problem.
