He sure is! I practically swallowed it whole, his style is so captivating. Since you say it was Dawkins that deconverted you, I have a good feeling about The God Delusion, it might be just what I need

When you said your grandfather and father drink, you also mentioned you read the god delusion which changed your life.
For some reason, I put 2 and 2 together and come to the conclusion that that is why they drink! They also came to this realisation as you have!

Interestingly enough ignoramus, they are both atheists, the only two in my extended family except for myself. Its almost as if alcohol possesses hidden properties conducive to godlessness.
But the real reason for their drinking is a little more cliched - its the wives. My people's culture is an odd one, patriarchal in all respects, except in actual practice.

I do, however, recommend keeping it in check, and never drink just before or while driving or operating dangerous machinery.
If you are still single, hopefully, you can avoid your father's and grandfather's fate by being careful about this marriage thing.
