Does that ever happen to me in this forum, Parkers?

Right, I keep forgetting how an online forum in which people write responses to one another is just like a Fox News interview segment in which people talk over one another and the clip is edited before being publicly aired. Give your whining a rest for one day, would you?

It is actually.
Take a look at my "Why Be Good?" thread.
Starting around post 450 or so, four MODERATORS, pocaracas, Stimbo, rexbeccarox and Cthulhu Dreaming start talking about military hardware, rock biters(?) and some movie called "Tank Girl" etc.
It went on for about 50 posts or so.
One might be tempted to say that it was a deliberate attempt to de-rail the thread or filibuster or something.
So, yeah. This forum is not above shouting down anyone who disagrees with the atheist POV.

Not only you try to tell us what we believe, you also want us to play by your rules.

I am in the south. There are numerous billboards claiming that Jesus is the savior. If the group that puts up those billboards have paid for them, I don't really care but it is hypocritical to complain about an atheist group putting up signs when your groups does the same thing.
Randy, what does it mean, to you, to be a new atheist?

It is the typical lying bullshit he peddles. He makes lengthy posts which are not edited, and pretends that that is the same as being talked over and not being able to finish sentences.
And he whines about the fact that people ignore his foolishness, and likens that to not being allowed to make a point.
As for derailing his threads, if he actually stayed on topic, his threads would have a much greater chance of keeping to the point. But he is just a total hypocrite, who complains when others do what he himself does.
His total lack of integrity and honesty are not going to win him many converts here. Perhaps, though, he is really a closet atheist, wanting to inspire hatred of religion and religious people. If so, he is being about as successful as he could be.

Shouting you down? Were you prevented from posting your own content? Did their posts cover up the reply button or something?
Oh, well then I guess it's nothing like shouting you down, is it?
It's also rather amusing hearing you say that in light of the multiple threads in which you've been able to post whatever you wish, and in the context of the thread that you were "shouted down" in, where you were able to re-rail the conversation the moment you came back to reply, with no undue negative effects to yourself. I fail to see how the few pages of fun the other guys had in the middle of your thread suppressed your ability to respond at all; this shrillness is a real overreaction from you, Randy.

I must say this is a hell of a way to find out I've been demoted to green. You guys could have broken it to me gently.

One might also say that it's a subtle way to drop a hint, Randy.

Randy: in order for a charge of iniquity to be taken seriously, you have to be able to demonstrate intent. Your perception and interpretation of such intent is not evidence of it.
And whatever became of Romans 13:1 - "Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God"? Basically, you're supposed to submit to the authority of the Staff even if you feel that we're wrong.
