Maybe that's why god doesn't love you anymore. God only has the one primate favorite. He wouldn't even give a soul to the others. That's why all animals are going to hell but some christian standards.

Animals don't go to hell because they don't have a soul. Could say God likes them more than Humans Wink

I've ended up killing more than I've saved. I found a mortally injured bat on the sidewalk and put it out of it's misery. I hate killing things but letting it writhe on the pavement with it's guts hanging out didn't seem like a real option. A cat left me with a bird in similar condition and our dog brings me half alive mice and once a squirrel. It ruins my day but I don't know what else to do.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

I've come across plenty of morally injured people but never a bat. *wink, wink*

I can't stand the idea of injured animals -humans included- suffering. But death as such doesn't seem to faze me. My favorite dog died coming up on two years ago and it was poignant but not distressing. He lived a good long life. He is missed. Life goes on. Death is just part of the deal. Pain is another story .. which makes you wonder what is up with hell?

Fixed.  So can bats be immoral?

Why not? Snakes are major douchebags apparently and Pigs are accursed.

Now if it's a bat and can talk you should be really worried.

I'd be late to everything if I stopped for every dead cat on the side of the road, but it does sadden me.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

So just how often are you late?

RE: Oh my heart....
I get all messed up even when watching fictional TV shows and movies. When I see a horse fall on it's side, I cry every time. Once, I saw a squirrel crawling across the road; half of it had been run over by a car (this was years ago, and I'm getting choked up thinking about it), so I called an animal rescue and stayed with it until they came. Another time, I came across a seagull that had been hit by a car, caught it in a wine box (luckily there was a liquor next door), and drove an hour to meet a seagull rescue lady. I asked her to keep me posted, but she said she was just going to put Stanley (I named him Stanley) down. I cried for two days.

I don't know why, but I'm not the same with people. Sure, I have empathy, and I'm sad when people are suffering; I just don't have the gut-wrenching mortification that happens deep down that I do for animals.

I'm more likely to feel anger at some idiot who didn't keep their cat indoors.
On the bright side, one dead feral cat means fewer dead songbirds.
Owned outdoor cats are worse because they won't starve when the prey population drops.  People feed them and they continue to kill.
Cats Kill Billions
Quote: Outdoor cats are the leading cause of death among both birds and mammals in the United States, according to a new study, killing 1.4 billion to 3.7 billion birds each year.

The mammalian toll is even higher,
So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat? Huh

Last Friday a 10 hr trip to rescue an intact male for the breed we raise and train. Two years ago fostered a dog that had been shot. Very concerned that the new "Max" movie will start a "101 dalmatian syndrome".

Thanks so much for all you do for these animals.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
