Don't want to support gay marriage? Don't, it's your freedom. Do you want to support it? Then do it. I'm not a proponent of labelling anyone as a bigot just because they don't agree with you, otherwise my entire family and half of my friends would be bigots and I would be fighting them every fucking time we argue about something. Regardless of how anyone feels, and I know most of us support gay marriage, there's no doubt that in liberal politics circles anyone who doesn't agree with liberals is a bigot and a fascist, that's been proven over and over and over again.

IF someone could explain me what I'm missing I'd appreciate it - Thanks in advance

Who would you say that video was for?

Obviously to promote Catholicism, it's what every group does - They promote what they stand for. I don't see the big deal. Do people think Catholics would make a video vilifying the Catholic church? It would be counter-productive, not to mention dumb. Regardless of the intention of the video, I agree with what people are saying - You can think what you want about marriage, and any other topic - It's basic freedom of thought.

But doesn't it seem to be in response to somebody saying something like "you're not allowed to be against gay marriage"? Who is saying that?

This may be a stretch, but I have a hunch that this is actually in response to legalizing gay marriage. Because that's all that happened. Nobody said they aren't allowed believe marriage is to be between a man and a woman.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Of course it is - Obviously there are many Catholics against gay marriage so the church wants to promote people's freedoms to be against something without necessarily being labelled as an outsider or a revolutionary or something like that.

'French' all the buttholes ??

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

That's the strange thing though. Obviously there are exceptions but for the most part of the Catholics I have met most are actually for gay marriage.

Does it make sense? Not to me but for them it does. The guys in this video if the polls are anything to go by are actually a minority amongst themselves.

Ok, well, then can I hate the video for being forced, and a little too conscious of the parallels they drew with the actual persecution of homosexuals? You have to wonder what they were thinking with the purposeful misdirection in the beginning portion. "Lets make them think this is about gay people (because that will be the natural assumption based on history), then switch it to Catholics so that...uhhh..."

And I don't care how you slice it, thinking you should somehow be able to dictate what someone else does with their life is arrogant and self-ritghteous.

Yeah most of my catholic friends are liberal and some are potheads. I think it's good, everything is better than an old fashioned conservative catholic - I've met a few, mostly older people - Showing them a picture of the communist logo may cause a heart attack

After watching the video I wouldn't be surprised to learn she considered David Barton a founding father.
