Ask a Blind Girl

RE: Ask a Blind Girl
Don't know how long you've been gone but I'm a new(ish) member of about 6 months. Welcome back Smile

I wondered where you went. Welcome back.

Nice to meet you. Good luck in school, I'd have been a professional student if I could have gotten away with it.

I personally think it doesn't do enough. No where near. The unemployment rate for the blind is -75% and the disabled community overall -83%.

Anyone with a physical disability is nearly forced into poverty because we have to shell out hundreds and thousands for tech and mobility aids, goodness forbid it break down! Never mind trying to get insurance to acknowledge that a cane is medically necessary.

Pretty boring. I yell at my roomies for moving things! I snuggle my awesome boyfriend. I eat pocky. And dance around naked. The usual.

Very interesting response! So, how up are you on Obamacare? Do you think our next prez will need to add a lot or take a lot away from Obamacare?

Admittedly I'm not sure I understand it fully. But I'm sure Bernie Sanders wins we will see some improvements.
