Is your blindness secondary to the hydrocephalus or separate cause?

When should sighted people offer to help blind people in public?

My guess is: 1) when they ask; and 2) when they are about to fall down a well or get hit by a car.

Have you always been blind?

There appears to be deaf community with a separate culture. Is there a similar blind community?

They kinda mixed together most of my sight problems are due to the hydrocephalus but some are just because genetics sucks that way

Yep when we ask is good. And yes there is a culture of blind pride. It's rare the community of deaf and blind overlap. We don't exactly community well.

You have my sympathy (not pity). One of the best attorneys I engaged recently was totally blind (due to retinitis pigmentosa). He used a braille laptop.

From your other posts I see positives in your future. All the best in college. Tolerate the roommates as best you can.
