Ah, but a lot like rotten elephant semen, you know you should be keeping away from this thread, but as it's there, you just can't help having a quick taste............

I got bad news for you yog.  Banging Head On Desk
I will have to take back what i said before that you are a good secretary.  Tut Tut
You don't remember when i said time and time again that when you reach the very top you
find total peace of mind and permanent happiness (nirvana).
You only remember things that suit your agenda and that is not good enough for a good secretary.
Sorry yog, no kudos today.  Rolleyes

Yeah, and since you have never achieved that, you don't know that it's true or even possible. Coming from you it's just wishful thinking and bullshit. What benefits of higher consciousness can you actually tell us about, given your own experience, not pie in the sky religious claims. What has it done for you lately?

Oh, wow, ok. It's rare that I get to see as much convoluted logic and verbal gymnastics as OP is providing us.

It's just as simple as this, dude: I'm an atheist because I don't have sufficient evidence of any god to believe in that god. If god were actually all knowing and all powerful, he would know exactly what would convince me of his legitimacy and he would easily be able to meet that criteria. The fact that he hasn't leads me to believe that either
1) god doesn't care if I'm an atheist,
2) god wants me to be an atheist or
3) god is imaginary

Didn't i say that to understand my metaphor it only need a normal brain?
By not understanding my metaphor you show that you haven't got a good brain  Tut Tut
but let us analyze your post.
You say that i haven't got at the top (yet) and that is true.
At the same time you say that by not having reach the top i could not possibly
know what the top is all about.
Here is where you show that your brain is not good enough.  Shake Fist
My metaphor goes .........As you climb the mountain you start to appreciate the beauty all around and when you reach the top then is the top of the top but if you never start the climb then you will never get any appreciation..
The appreciation, understanding and feel good come as you climb.
From this unless you are demented understand that the more you climb the more everything get better and better so you don't need to reach the top to know that the very top got to be much better than further down.
What's the point in knowing exactly how the top is.
That is not the point.
The point is to climb more and more knowing that the more you climb and the more you enjoy.  Lightbulb

Value man, this is the problem you have.  Banging Head On Desk
Modern atheist thinking not take into account the journey. Panic
Not just seeing top of mountain is what important, but how we are getting there.
Didn't thinking about it Rob, did you?  Dizzy Cuddle
You need normal brain to know my genius in yogic mantra.
Evolution of journey known for thousands of years by yoga.  Tut Tut
Open mind to big conscience and you will know all, by way of big journey.
I now go to masturbate into my own faeces, as written by Yogi.  Indubitably
You may refer to me as "Oh High One."

Total garbage on all 3 points jo.
Suppose that God exist and evolution is all about an opening of consciousness in order to grow you up.
As a mother or parent you grow your kid up to a point.
After that you got to let them decide what to do with their lives in the good or the bad.
God act in the same way.
As the consciousness reach the level of human being he will let you do whatever you like.
You can love people and at the same time you can torture them or kill them.
The karma law will take care of that but this is not the point.
The point is that the life is a discovering journey.
God will not tell you where the gold is.
You will have to find that out by yourself if of course you are interested in gold.
If you are not that's ok either.
God will not push you to believe in his gold nor he will shake your neck and say ....believe in me you idiot.
No jo, nothing like this.
When the time will come that you will feel sick and tired of this limited material world then you may well
wish to find something better and at this stage you will get the tip how to proceed ahead.  Lightbulb

I forgot to mention, it's a metaphorical helicopter. I only need metaphorical coordinates.
