At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Biological evolution applies to species, not individuals.  If you had half a clue what you are talking about, you would know this.  That you think 'life' teaches you other things is laughable.  On top of everything else, you're using multiple definitions of the word evolution as if they were all the same thing.  That's a fallacy.  You don't 'evolve' biologically speaking.  Your claiming that you do is just a word game.

Wrong again yog.  Banghead
As usual you jump to conclusion without taking in consideration all points.  Indubitably
1) You don't take in consideration that low form of lives are mainly driven by mother nature.
In science this occurrence is better known as instinct.
I say mainly because in some plants like climbers and in some animals also the free will start to wake up.
Nothing however as the free will in humans.
Humans on the other hand have mainly free will and instinct play a smaller part.
That means that man (both sex of course) can evolve thanks to his own effort and at the same time can loose his consciousness (devolution) according to his own free will.
Lower form of life however tend to go along together as instinct drive them or better say force them
to follow a certain path so there are not big evolutionary differences until they merge into human life.
Said that here we see the next point.
2) Darwin never took in consideration that any form of life always end up there where it fit best
just like a pieces that fit in a jigsaw puzzle game.
Nothing to do with survival.
Consciousness and energy are the two sides of the same coin.
Nothing ever die.
Nothing is ever destroyed.
Life continue.
If that piece can not fit in a particular jigsaw then it will end up in a different one where it can fit
perfectly.
The idea that survival is the thing that trigger evolution is 100% crap.
Form of lives always survive.
You just can not get rid of energy and consciousness.
It is impossible.
It never happen and will never happen.  Lightbulb
Here i stop because if i tell you how all started and how all end up your brain could not take it at this stage in time.  Smile

This has nothing to do with the point I made about your equivocation of the term evolution and your mistaking biological evolution as being something that happens to individuals. You can claim that I am wrong all the doo dah day and at the end of it all, you are still the one who is making a mistake.

This is just more babbling aimed at a strawman of evolution. Again you are confusing the scientific theory of biological evolution with other types of evolution which don't necessarily apply to the species level. In short, you are using the words in an incorrect manner, and knowing or not knowing your 'system' has no effect on my ability to judge that. The theory of biological evolution doesn't say that "survival is the thing that trigger evolution" so your saying that it does say that is pure crap. Nobody gives a rat's ass about your theory of the evolution of consciousness. That's a red herring you brought in because you don't understand how it differs from biological evolution. In short, you've just made a mess filled with strawmen and other fallacies.

Little Thik, can I make a suggestion?

As you are clearly far above us all in terms of intelligence, please can you go to the UN and sort out the Palestinian situation and a cure for cancer, world hunger and global warming etc?

I am confident that your unique eloquence will persuade all the relevant people of what needs to be done.

Please leave us poor ignorant souls in peace. Our minds simply cannot reach the same depths as yours.

Thank you for your concern, I shall take your kind words at face value. However please don't confuse my personal circumstances with my lack of patience with bullshit, okay?

I don't usually give free tuition but i will make an exception for you yog. (not to be repeated  Rolleyes )
Your obsession with biological evolution that answer all question is absurd.
Biological evolution answer very little if you really want to know how the whole evolution system works.
Physical science that study evolution tell us that we inherited what we got from previous generation but where is the evidence?
This science come to easy conclusion a bit like those people that in the past thought that the planet was flat.
Unfortunately for these people the whole story is quite different.
People inherit absolutely nothing in terms of material-physical-mental qualities.
Life is the evidence of this.
If you want something you got to fight for.
Nothing is given for free so it is absurd that we inherited what we got from previous generation.
Only idiots think so.  Banging Head On Desk
But be careful to draw conclusions.
We are made with what our parents give us so in a way we inherited from them but here lie the trick
that confuse people and scientists.
If we would get all our lives for free thanks to our parents and our grandparents before that we would
get something for free but nothing in life come for free so where are we coming from then?
Every bit of life proceed in his journey from small consciousness to big consciousness as individuals.
As individual we fit in a jigsaw puzzle that best suit us in the good or the bad.
Our parents give us life in a way but we already had a life before that and we conquer what we got
previously so all our parents do is to allow us to continue the life we had before.
The conclusion is that we enter this life in that particular jigsaw that reflect our individuality by be born in a particular family.
That doesn't mean that we have anything to do with biological evolution which suppose to give us those
particularities that we have.
We already had these particularity long before we born in this life.
We just enter that evolutionary stage that suit us most.
If you really insist in your dogma that biological evolution give us these particularities then prove it.
Science so far has never proved that so if you succeed in doing so i will cover you in pure 24 carat
gold.  Wink

Even if i could do miracles i wouldn't do them.
Why should i solve other people problems?
Life is all about learning.
By doing the wrong thing people bang their head on the wall.  Banghead
By experience the toughness of the wall people stop doing the wrong thing.
They put themselves in that predicament so they have to change their ways.
The karma law will follow you everywhere life after life.
I certainly help those in trouble and i always do as the opportunity arise.
I help charities.
I look after sick people but there is where i stop.
Miracles make no sense to me.

Quote:Please leave us poor ignorant souls in peace. Our minds simply cannot reach the same depths as yours.

I certainly can leave you in peace.
That however will not solve your problems.
Only when you will find total peace of mind you will be in total peace but to find this
it require a lot of hard work from you.  Lightbulb

1.You said evidence for love can't be gathered.
#I provided evidence for love.
2.You defined love in such a way so as to neglect the evidence I provided to you for love.
#I asked you to provide examples of your definition of love.
3.You couldn't.
#I asked you whether there is consciousness in vacuum.
4.You said there is consciousness in vacuum.
#I proved mathematically that it is impossible to have anything other than nothing in nothing, i.e, vacuum.
5.You said that math is materialistic whereas consciousness isn't and hence mathematics cannot disprove consciousness.
#I reminded you that mathematics is abstract,i.e,not materialistic.
6.You didn't respond.
7.You were preaching us on how beneficial consciousness could be.
#I asked you to provide a few uses of having a higher consciousness.
8.You couldn't.

Basically, you can't give us shit, well, technically you can give us shit, but that's about it.
