You are buying the wrong brand.  Panda is decent.

I remember the milkman bringing a couple gallons to my grandma's every morning we were visiting. I remember when there were three and only three channels on TV. If you moved to a city where there were four, you were disappointed because it was PBS and there was nothing blowing up on it. Everything on the other channels had car-chases, murders, or both -- and sometimes some nice tits'n'ass. We stayed out until dark unless someone tipped mom off what we were up to -- a free-range childhood, no helicopter parenting. A quarter got me two comic books and ten pieces of Bazooka. You played outside and got tanned and scraped and caught the occasional broken bone. And if you had an Atari you were golden.

Sounds like people in the 70s had a really bad taste

Yes.  Just watch some TV shows from the 1970's and look at the clothing and furniture.  But not everyone was "fashionable" at the time, so not everyone had bad taste.

I kinda remember That 70s Show but not well. And I know bell bottoms are back. But kinda out of luck rewatching anything.

Sorry, I forgot for a moment.  Your blindness is not an essential part of you, from my perspective.  You are a person.  Being blind is just a secondary attribute.  Of course, it is of great importance to you.

If you cannot remember seeing things from the 1970's (the reality was worse than in That 70's Show, which was affected by fashions of when it was made), I suppose there is still another option for you.  If you can find some old clothes from the 1970's, you can feel that much of it is unpleasant to the touch.  Polyester was common and fashionable.  Of course, you will not see how truly revolting it is, but you can also feel oversized collars and some other features, and try to imagine how they look.  Gaudy colors were common, with wild patterns.  And not in the cooler, hippy style of the 1960's.  ("Cooler" is a relative term; it does not take much to be better than 1970's fashions.)

Ugh.  That is almost enough to make me wish I were blind.

In case of sweets, always buy the European stuff. Haribo licorice is just fine.
