If so why say that God is immeasurable, eternal, omnipotent and omniscient? Do we actually possess the means to determine if any of these claims are true? No.
Your premise is already off. God, any god, has been attributed with all too human feelings. And from there they took it to omnipotent and omniscient to make him look superhuman. Truth is, god has been created in our image, not the other way round. And that's obvious for every god ever been worshiped.

Yeah. It's not much fun believing in a "god" who really actually is Omni-everything!
We would be the last things in the universe he could care less about if that were the case.
(Except masterbating! That has multiversal consequences!)

There are no proofs of god, only extremely bad evidence (for lack of a better word).
I've got some better words. "Shit theists throw at the wall in hopes some of it sticks." That's as close as they ever get to actual evidence.

I'd say that nothing compares quite favorably to gawd. Although they're quite hard to tell apart.

Only God could provide those prior conditions. Therefore God. Those are arguments for a Creator, for example an argument for a creator is that consciousness if solely materially created is so complicated that to get there you would need many complex steps, yet there has to be a step from non-consciousness to consciousness because of how vastly different it is between the two states (ie. it's not like white to black with shades of grey). This put's a paradox where many steps are needed at the same time one step has to happen (ie. the shift from one state to the other).
Ummm...you do realize that there are organisms alive right now who exhibit vastly differing levels of conscious development, right? There is no need for consciousness to suddenly happen in one step.
Organisms have generally evolved (at minimum) enough consciousness to process whatever level of information they can sense. Humans have senses that are limited in range, yes, but in many ways our sensory equipment is a good bit more sophisticated than virtually all of our animal cousins, allowing us to take in remarkably copious and detailed levels of environmental information, hence the large brains. Without those, the sensory information we take in would be much less useful.
Anyway, my point is that consciousness can and does develop in steps as organisms evolve to sense and process increasingly complex information. There is never a need for a great leap of any kind to get from non-conscious critters to conscious ones; like everything in life, thought most likely evolved slowly through a series of small steps.
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

Consciousness is an emergent property of a complex brain, and seems to arise in direct proportion to the processing power of the brain in question.

I think you mean "nothing" in the sense of true absence of anything as opposed to the colloquial "everything else pales by comparison". I would agree. After all, both are claimed as that which everything can come from.
