Um?   It looks to me like you are talking past each other.  Evolution, gravity, the theory of relativity, and hundreds of other things are not fueled by intelligence, but they are discovered and described by intelligence.

Idiocy won't change the laws of physics, chemistry, biology, or economics.  Nor will it change the past.  But it does have an impact on what we decide to do in future.

Never implied that. Only implied that idiocy is based on chance, seeing as it is not seeking the logical conclusion, and that chance often creates or discovers things before logic could, due to logic's lack of knowledge at the time. It is therefore useful to have some amount of population to be idiots, in order to aid the intelligent. That is my implication.

To make it about labels is stupid. Religions have come and gone in human history and new ones get invented all the time.

Think of it this way. Can you name every single Pharaoh who ruled during the 3,000 year dynasty? Can you name, without searching, off the top of your head, every single president or all the world's leaders who have existed in human history?

There were no written or organized religions 200,000 years ago, much less 4 billion years ago when the earth formed. Our planet will die and our sun as well, and there will be no record of humans or the bullshit gods we invent.

The only time that maters is now. Sagan's "Pale Blue Dot" speech is what humanity needs to face if our species wishes to extend our finite ride.
