I get the feeling that the OP is kind of stuck in a frustrating place in life and has invested all her emotion into the hope that this will make everything worthwhile.

On the plus side for the OP, all this work she has put into does not have to be a waste of time and effort because it could still be a learning experience. But if she refuses to listen to constructive criticism on how to improve then it's not even that. It's a common mistake that people make to think that they already have the necessary skills to compete professionally. This is why there is so much dross being published for free on Amazon Kindle. All people think is that they just have to write a book. They don't realise that you first have to develop the skills and that this means that your first attempts either need to be constantly rewritten or thrown away.

My mum publishes on Amazon and gets loads of positive 5 star reviews. She spends hundreds of hours writing and her first books were scrapped. I've always loved drawing comics myself and last year I decided to see what I was capable of. I spent well over a month drawing just five panels of a scene. There was no colour and the cartoons were simplistic but they were a quality that I would be happy to see in other people's cartoons. An experienced professional would have done them in a couple of hours (if that). I'm proud of what I achieved but I was never going to be able to compete with other people who have gone to art school.

My advice. Stick to just one book. Concentrate solely on the writing and be prepared to spend hundreds of hours on one single book alone. Don't try to do movies and books and everything else. You only have so much time and potential to learn. Devote it to one single project and make it perfect.

Ha! I did the exact same thing. One of my best friends has a brother (that's my connection, but I consider his brother my friend too) who is somewhat of a local legend of writing really entertaining stories. He started out by being a game master for RPG's. he was so good we always wanted him to do it. He enjoys telling stories and he's amazing at it. Anyhow, years later I stumbled on a short he wrote called The Mofo's online. I read it, loved it, and immediately thought it would work perfect as a comic. I contacted him and we talked it out and story boarded everything in about a week.

....Then it was time for me to draw everything. I ended up with three panels (full size Bristol board)...in two weeks. Hahaha I couldn't draw fast enough and keep up with life at the same time. I would have had to drop a few balls in different areas of life to finish it. Oh, mine were also only line work, but they were never going to be colored. Just pencil and ink. We ended up calling it off and to this day I feel really bad about it. I really want to finish it. I have this fantasy about working at it a little at a time with out him knowing and then having one copy printed out and mailing it to him one day. It doesn't help that I decided to give my best shot at Bryan Hitch level detail. It's nowhere near as good. I ought to dig them out and post them here. I'd love to see your work as well!
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

I will never give up. I thank you for a few of your criticisms at least. I've published alternate versions of my three novels in black-and-white versions of the pictures. The alternate color versions are still in print with the prices reduced by Amazon a little bit. However, it is ironic I will always receive more revenue for the black-and-white versions than the color versions. As the revenue CreateSpace will give me for the color versions at these prices is only .70 cents.

These novels are not directly part of the actual franchise as they are just a sort of "set-up" for why the Wogglebug is no longer in Oz in my movies and picture books.

Also, if I must focus more on the picture book's image than I will do so. I can have more perks geared toward the picture books and items based on them. I've been thinking about launching a smaller campaign just for the books on Publush.com eventually.

Still, as for my animated movies, you need to understand that expecting complete perfection along the lines of Pixar or Dreamworks from them is TOO MUCH. Because the people at those studios are teams of hundreds of programmers and suchlike. I just work by myself and have a limited (in comparison) quantity of tools to work with in my program. But I am aiming to get better with it and have downloaded a help manual to look into, and my voice actor happens to know people who can be better helpful critics for me in this area than you because they are experts in the program I use.

Nobody is saying you need to be perfect or nearly as good as Pixar, but maybe like...Backyardigans. That's probably asking too much even.

Google what people are doing with blender. People are making some incredible stuff with that FREE software.

I am not interested in changing the program I use. And I may eventually just turn my animating over to a studio, of course. But I can't anytime soon as I need progress in my franchise first so that I can be able to do so.

Here is what my Pubslush campaign would look like: http://WogglebugPictureBooksCampaignFund...bslush.com

I've decided to start releasing picture book versions of my movies before the movies are released. I am going to use still photos from the movie versions. Yes, with the same program I always have used. I know you all like my picture book artist's designs better. But here's the deal:

He will not illustrate for me until I've at least paid him off the thousand dollars I owe him for the last two picture books. Which I won't publish until he changes some of them to fit with how I've set up the series I want to actually do that isn't tapping into anyone else's franchise. Of course I can't pay off this debt until my Indiegogo campaign is successful and then I'll still have to pay my artist even more for more new pictures if in the event I want him to illustrate my picture books of my movies.

So for now the best I have for picture books is still photo captures from my actual movies. I'm hoping these picture book versions will help the campaign be successful in showing how awesome the Wogglebug is when he has his own series to himself. And if you and anyone else want to see my picture book artist illustrate these books in new versions afterward then my Indiegogo campaign must be successful and you may want to consider helping me to make it so.

The story is about more than Mr. Wogglebug, it's also about how he and his little friend Sylvie have an adventure in saving the Enchanted Forest. It basically has delicately woven themes in about protecting and preserving the environment and doing what is right for it. It also has at least a minor anti-religious theme to it in that there is a villain who is a crazed religious guy who is wanting to take over the Enchanted Forest thinking he knows what is right because he has power invested in his that is actually energy that is the opposite of what the forest and its inhabitants need to grow.

If this hasn't sparked your interest yet, I am also considering starting a contest at the end of it and each of the following books.

I assure you the price of this book will be very low even in color due to the page count being little more than 30.

There's really not a nice way to put this so if you can't handle harsh criticism then go no further; but fuck me... thanks for the nightmare fuel.

Wouldn't let my kids anywhere near this. It's beyond strange, and more than stepping over the creep line. My four year old wouldn't put up with the quality, not to mention the late nights spent convincing her the Wogglebug isn't hiding in her closet with ether.

This whole thing just reminded me of this:

Hell, the animation and voice acting in this is better than what OP has come up with. So is the story.

Hahahaha Jesus Christ, I'm losing it at work.

Yeah that's maybe just a tad below GTAV level graphics and the cinematography is actually really decent haha.
