Say exactly that.

OFC, I am sure the gods made by mankind do not exist, the christian one and all others. Being gods Ill defined, it would also be foolish of me to discard any option because others are wrong. I guess a god needed to be defined to even begin to have proof of it.

There is also, black swans. I am not going to completely disregard an idea because Cristians, muslims, Hindus, etc got it stupid.

I have trouble distinguishing anti-theists from theists or as someone said, only fools deal with absoluts.

If anything, I want people to arrive at atheism for a reason, not by force, physical or argumentative. This is the greatest flaw of anti-theists, they forget to attack the reasoning for the satisfaction of point and laugh. Attack the belief, not the believer. Only humans as far as I know, can undertand your words Sad

If I was clever enough to link this to the Hall of Wit thread it would already be there.

Well I guess I fall into that category. By any stretch of the word, I cannot imagine a universe in which a God could exist. The only way the idea of God itself makes any sense at all is if it is defined merely as the universe itself, nothing more and nothing less but that. We already know that the universe exists, so sure, if some people like to call it God, let them, but other than that I know for sure there is no God just as I know there is no living human inside of a sun, with a DNA like ours, names esdpofgasdfasd;f, that drinks Ice Tea.

Can someone please explain to me why the majority of atheists give this the benefit of the doubt, namely that God certainly doesn't exist? It seems a bit dogmatic.

As ussual your opponent is only using word play at trying to discredit the atheist stance instead of producing good evidence.

The main thing about science is that the burden of proof is upon the one who asserted the theory not the  ones who refute it.

In fact a true sceintist tries to disprove his own theory to show that he/she has no bias on the point and so can state without doubt that the theory is a fact.  If not then not.

Religion goes on faith.  True  enough.  That doesn't mean that you have to, not in this country.  I love to remind the theist that.

Why bring science into it though? What does science have to do with anything. It seems to me God is more of a philosophical subject than a scientific one.

science is what i do. everything. it is philisophical until the religious claim that their belief is reality. science is based on math which is proven reality. the poster asked for help.

Hii again Big Grin

His reply to me and some others.
Quote:U have not taken any steps further. Only walked in circles.

Ignorance is bliss. Until it becomes atheism.

Please refute my construct using logical reasoning. Not the fabrication of evidence against something you have defined in your own mind.

Supernatural doesnt exist?
Haha. Ur logic is so backwards you obviously dont know what logic is.

Start with defining your premise. What is supernatural. Then claim God is supernatural. Or vice versa

These are your premises.

Then u can move to say God does not exist because supernatural things dont exist.

Do you know what valid and sound means???

We all agree God is beyond nature.

We do not agree what "beyond nature" means.

do you think there is "nothing" beyond the physical matter that we can sense? Have you not heard of quantum mechanics?

Is the quantum space "non existent" also?

Is the bermuda triangle supernatural? Does it not exist?

Or do you just equate the word with "fiction".

I think the correct word i should use is science fiction.

So u like star wars? Are you a fan of starwars? (Like most of you atheists are, such brainwashed moronic not cool dweebs) yea. If im an atheist to darth vader. Are you the believer in science fiction?

Hahaha. Dumb asses. Live in the real world.

When you can stump me. You can claim that title. Until then...

I will just call you "stumpy".

Have fun

The ramblings of a mental case. It's barely worth trying to refute such nonsense. His brain has been destroyed by convincing himself religion makes any sense.

I have one I like to stump apologetics with:

Did god know you would fail to convince me, or was he surprised?

Such as when visiting a psychic and asking, "did you know I was coming"?

Yeah, that response was the ranting of a loony. Best to keep the loonies off the path.
