What kind of MAGIC does god use to damage human tissue to the point of a fatality only when the man's eyes have passed the image of him to his brain?

Why did god create this Woo Woo magic to only show from his face and not his ass? What was his motive for setting himself up like that? Does a father that loves his children purposely design his exterior so that he would kill his children if they saw his face or experienced his goodness? The only reason a human would die from seeing god is if god wanted it that way? Why would he want it that way?
