RE: 2015 NFL thread
RG got dinged again, anchor on Sports center said he needs to us his legs as an insurance policy, meaning learn to stay in the pocket . How can you do that if you don't have a line to protect you?

In disgust, you should join the AF.org Fantasy Football League, draft Michael Vick in the last round, and then sit his ass all season, just so no one can score points with him.

And get your man to join as well. Russell Wilson isn't going to draft himself... Tongue

Hatred (or at least strong dislike) of the Raiders is the one thing fans of all 31 other teams can agree on.

I put the Cowboys and Steelers in the same category. The Eagles too, but in that case it's more about hating the fans than the team. For some reason, every Eagles fan I have personally known is a raging douchenozzle.

RG not protected once again in last night's game against the Browns. Skins won, but after the game on ESPN, the pundits said he needed to use " his legs" as an insurance policy". Meaning sparingly and not as a default. I agree, but that is hard to do when your team has not had a pocket protector since the Hogs.

I'll agree that the 'Boys, Steelers and Eagles get their share of hatred, but it just doesn't seem as constant and universal as the Raiders get. When the 'Boys, Steelers and Eagles are down, nobody cars about 'em. When the Radiders are down everybody just keeps kicking. Big Grin

Gotta ask my rival Cowchip fans, are you just as annoyed that the scedual over the years lately has had the Skins and Dallas playing both games later in the season?

It used to be mostly one game near the beginning of the season and the second mid or late in the last half of the season.

RE: 2015 NFL thread
I don't know what the deal with that is, Brian - maybe just the luck of the draw. Seattle had almost all of it's division games backloaded in the last half of the season last year. Yeah, its annoying, and leads to much nail-biting going into the playoffs.

I'd like to see them make the playoffs, but I think that's the best I can hope for.

I'm quite optimistic about Bridgewater; he could have a breakout year.  Minnesota has great potential (of course, I've been heart-brokenly saying this since I was ten), but they have a brutal schedule.  8-8 or 9-7 might be the most we can reasonably hope for, and I'm probably being a cockeyed optimist even going that far.
