Kitty and I are friends with a Québécois couple that runs a B&B in Mexico - conversations in that house tend to be tri-lingual: French, English and Spanish. My avatar is a very meaningful symbol for me and something that gives me great comfort in life, in so many different ways.
Before this it was a picture of me dressed as Odo meeting Rene Auberjonois at a sci-fi convention. I changed it to the Clockwork Universe after I made a monumental arse of myself in a mafia game, both because I felt ashamed and wanted to basically become anonymous again and to remind me of its message that it, and everything else in life, couldn't have been any other way. Now that game is long forgotten and I'm much more philosophical about all mafia games, but I still like my new avatar so I'm keeping it. I only wish I noticed it more often because it really is all I need to get over or deal with pretty much anything life throws at me.
