The Flying Spaghetti Monster carved those onto a block of Parmesan for the benefit of all mankind !!!
Praise his noodlyfull goodness !!! The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
Randy's a goddamn sinner after all
Can someone explain why the fallacy "Begging the question" is called begging the question? I feel like this should be obvious to me, but...it ain't.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay." For context, this is the previous verse: "Hi Jesus" -robvalue
Is this commandments of logic or debate, or logical debate?
Any way you want to take it I like it.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Quote:The original meaning of begging the question comes from a bad translation of petitio principii, literally a request (or beg) for the premise, which explains this problem.RationalWiki Article on Begging the Question

Don't worry, my friend. If this be the end, then so shall it be.
Very good OP although there are way more than ten logical fallacies
How ever the more that you know the better you can be in a debate Even if you are just a passive observer you can still try to spot them The worst debaters are those that have no knowledge of them at all This is why one should have at least a basic under standing of them A MIND IS LIKE A PARACHUTE : IT DOES NOT WORK UNLESS IT IS OPEN

Nice!
Two thingses: * It's either "You shall" or "Thou shalt" though, no? * I don't understand the wording of #4. What is wrong with accepting a premise as true? Isn't the problem only present if one of the premises trivially includes the conclusion and one hides that fact?
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psalm 14, KJV revised edition
Assuming something is true and then seeing the ludicrous shit hemorrhage it leads to can be illustrative. Mormonism springs to mind, unbidden . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
I mean, commandment 0 is x=>y =/=> y=>x. Enough people screw that up as it is.
