Zardoz!

What red-blooded, hitman-obsessed boy wouldn't want a God who spits out truckloads of weaponry?
(Fun Fact: I have just given you the parts of Zardoz that make the most sense.)

If I had to choose a religion that existed in reality outside of John Boorman's acid-drenched skull, I would have to pick Theravada Buddhism. For what it's worth, Buddhism has been the religion that tends to agree with me the most, and Theravada Buddhism tends to have less of the extraneous crap that most of the Mahayaha versions have.

If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.

Buddhism.

Or Jainism, I could go naked and wear a little veil so as not to impact my karmic debt by accidentally inhaling little bugs.

Which is a big part of why I like it, well that and the utter insanity in every single aspect of the movie.

I think I'd sign up for this one.

http://www.biblenews1.com/babylon/babylon3.html

Quote: The Great Mother Goddess, the "Mother of Prostitutes" (Revelation 17:5), was worshipped under different names in different pantheons all over the world. Regardless of the name, however, the women who served her in ritual prostitution represented the Prostitute of Babylon.

In Cyprus it appears that before marriage all women were formerly obliged by custom to prostitute themselves to strangers at the sanctuary of the goddess, whether she went by the name of Aphrodite, Astarte, or what not. Similar customs prevailed in many parts of Western Asia. Whatever its motive, the practice was clearly regarded, not as an orgy of lust, but as a solemn religious duty performed in the service of that great Mother Goddess of Western Asia whose name varied, while her type remained constant, from place to place. Thus at Babylon every woman, whether rich or poor, had once in her life to submit to the embraces of a stranger at the temple of Mylitta, that is, of Ishtar or Astarte, and to dedicate to the goddess the wages earned by this sanctified harlotry. The sacred precinct was crowded with women waiting to observe the custom.

I wonder if there is an application form or does one just take a number like in a bakery?

No contest. Well... except for Pastafarianism perhaps. I'm a devout follower, that's why I sign up to the religion with the most members.
