I'd be more accepting of anti vaxers if not for the fact that they're putting everyone else's health at risk.
Not to mention, the ones I've actually talked to were just as stupid as could be. You wouldn't imagine the kind of butchered idea of biology they have. I mean, I'm learning things in first year intro to biology that they seem to be clueless about. Not to mention, naturalistic falacy is usually rampant. What science they actually do understand, often gets twisted into some kind of bizarre troll science.

It's apparently fun to assume that big pharma or the Government (which is actually, you know, US) is out to experiment and fuck with us for profit and fun. Conspiracy theorists appear to be the norm rather than the exception. WHY are people SO DUMB?
If The Flintstones have taught us anything, it's that pelicans can be used to mix cement.

I believe Gardasil is recommended for males and females age 9 - 26. I doubt that all the members of this forum in that group have received it. Why not?

I was too old by the time the vaccine came out.

I don't doubt that anyone has received it, I doubt that all people indicated by the guidelines have received it. I've asked about it before and, from the lack of answers, think that I'm probably correct, particularly about the men.
The point is that people's words say one thing, but their actions say another, or everyone in the indicated group in countries where it's approved would have gotten it.

We don't pay as much attention to our health in our middle years as we do in the beginning, or toward the end. Some of us haven't had it because our parents had some sort of misinformed idealogical axe to grind not at all related to anti-vaxxing. It was a talking point here in the states for awhile, if you'll recall. Don't fall in either camp myself.

Do you have any data at all, or is this just a guess based on some sort of agenda you have?
Gardasil has only been approved for males since 2010.
