A supernatural experience that would definitively point to a particular religion. Like if Mohammad materialized in front of me or something lol. That's the only way I'd think Islam is true.
CL, how on earth would you differentiate between gods?
By looking at them?
What if he came to you while having tea tonight and the toast started talking to you. Would that be proof enough? How would you know it's not the devil tricking you?
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

How could you differentiate between Mohammed appearing in front of you and a hallucination?

How could you even tell it is him, since no one knows what he looks like?

I call it the "wow fallacy" when you will accept anything someone/something says after they've demonstrated a certain amount of power. Hallucinations will be particularly troublesome for people vulnerable to this fallacy, as your own mind will know exactly what is "impressive enough" to you. And of course, it's highly likely a hallucination will include elements of the mythology you've been saturated with since birth. Hey presto!

Anyone can have hallucinations, the mind is very fallible and subject to glitches.

People have no idea what Jesus looks like and he appears on toast all the fucking time.

Mohammed would appear on toast, but he's afraid his followers would kill the person he appeared to.

This question is always asked of atheists, so I thought it was about time to flip the script and have the theists answer.

Thanks!

Sufficient evidence. It would have to be a supernatural experience that would directly point to one of those religions.

Right.  Just like the supernatural experience you had that directly pointed you toward Christianity?

Or is that something that didn't happen?

Well you guys are starting to ask for a very specific example lol. I mean, I dunno... obviously something that I can't deny would need to happen for me to believe in a different religion. And it would need to be something that trumps my previous experiences/evidence of Christianity.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

It did. That's why it would take something really big for me to believe something else.

What was this experience, and how did you come to the conclusion that it was supernatural?

Because I know God personally, there's nothing that could change my mind.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Great. Since you "personally" know God, tell us something non-trivial about him that isn't contained in the Bible.

All we can comprehend about God is in the Bible.
