You may be offended by someone else's symbol of morality, but a symbol is not an offensive thing in and of itself if its meaning can be different for different people. So have you aske the satanists what their symbol means? Maybe there are a few that don't mean to scare you.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

C_L, what else could it possibly mean if you put the religious code that people are judged by outside of a government building like a courthouse or government capitol? If I am convicted of a crime or am petitioning for something, and I don't honor your god, and I don't care for your stone age version of morality, is the message being sent t that I am to be judged fairly?

"Do this list of stuff or you'll go to hell" seems very aggressive and presumptuous to me.
The demon is just asking people to chill their jets and looking damn fine while he's at it. That's my interpretation anyway. Feel free to send me a private message.
