No, you can't. Atheism excludes the existence of paranormal energies like gods. And souls as well. An atheist claiming they believe in souls is the same contradiction as someone who claims "there's no life in the Universe, except for man kind" and then says "I believe there's life in the Universe".

You need be slapped in the head with a dictionary. You are wrong. Atheism excludes the existence of gods. Nothing else. You may not like it but that's the way it is.

Atheism is defined as the lack of belief in a god or gods, so unless you think your soul is a God you're not contradicting yourself, however there is no evidence of a soul so believing in it is just as nonsensical as believing in God.
