Ayman al-Zawahiri, the man who replaced Usama bin Laden as the head of Al Qaeda, has reportedly declared war on ISIS “caliph” Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in a newly released audio message.

In the message, which was released on Wednesday, al-Zawahiri calls the Islamic State illegitimate and insists that al-Baghdadi is not the leader of all Muslims.

I'm painting in broad strokes, here,
but the muslims in Al Qaeda hate America,
but they are, for the most part, I believe,
at least fanatically devout.

ISIS are war-mongering monsters destroying indiscriminately and selling abducted girls into human trafficking,
under the assumed flag of Islam, all for money and power.

I am actually not completely surprised to hear that Al Qaeda would take issue.

The problem isn't you saying it, but Western politicians choosing the way of indiscriminate stupidity too. It's not a beauty contest. But a little more brains than brawns would have prevented much of what has happened within the last decade.

I had a feeling either this would happen, or ISIS would splinter. Religion's power to unite is matched only by its ability to divide. I'm sort-of hoping they cancel each other out, I just feel bad for the poor fuckers caught in the fight between monsters.
